Since 1982, I have been using the same Pentax ME-Super SLR Camera. My camera bag generally holds a Pentax 28 mm lens and a Sigma 35-120 mm telephoto lens (which I usually leave on the camera) and rolls of Kodak Ektachrome or Konica 200 ASA colour film. I also have a rather handy Vivitar Flash though I hate using it unless if absolutely necessary.
In this edition of the album, I have posted a link to US Visit 2002 which has pictures and a brief narrative of the trip Dharma and I made there in May-June 2002, covering some of the places we visited, people we met and things we did.
In The Srivanchiyam Story I have narrated with pictures my ancestral links to a small Vinayakar shrine at Srivanchiyam, a sleepy hamlet near Tiruvarur.
I have added pages since your last visit (assuming you have been here before). Check out the new page Links not covered in the above broef description.
Also, I have recently taken to using a CASIO 4 M-Pix Digital Camera which I find easier to carry around than the SLR I have hitherto used.
Click on the Links on the Navigation Bar at the top of this page to view the pictures and narratives. To see the pics in larger size, you can right click on the pic and save to desktop (from where you can delete them when you want). I am yet to figure out how to add a blow-up picture option.
I hope a visit to this site will help you share some of the wonderful experiences we were fortunate to enjoy.
In the interests of saving your download time, I am using thumbnail size for most pics.
Do get back to me with your valuable comments and suggestions. Do sign my Guest Book. Mailing me is an easier process - just click on the link.
I have added a Message Board link which I hope family members and visitors to this my site will enjoy posting their own reflections and experiences in, so that this becomes a focul hub through which we could all vitrually interact and stay in touch not withstanding the distances that separate us.
Thank you for your time.
